THE CHALLENGE

WE HAD BEST LAID PLANS... THEN THE PANDEMIC HIT...

...Makes things kind of difficult, huh? Yet, that is not stopping us.

We have taken 6 months off from our careers in medicine and finance to follow a passion for cycling and adventure. The plan is to simply follow the Guinness World Record rules for cycling around the world: 29,000km heading East through two antipodal points.

That's it.

COVID has made our initial world record attempt impossible, but it has not taken away our love for cycling and travel. So never mind riding around the world, let's ride as far as 6 months will take us!

What route will we take if the pandemic is still preventing us to travel to most places? THAT is the real challenge and the real adventure. There is no simple fast route for us, and we intend to make the best out of this difficulty to travel, by exploring new, slower, but perhaps more beautiful and surprising routes.

Stay tuned to see how we get on!

Follow our route
